John Delk #41751 My Disc Golf journey... I was 8 years old when I started throwing Frisbee. By age 12, I was playing object golf in the streets from light post to light post.

In '86 I discovered Disc Golf and played my first tournament, The First Annual "Sneaky Pete", in Burlington, North Carolina. I moved back to Ohio in 1987 and didn't play again until I joined the PDGA in 2009. I have been competing every year since.

Been awhile since I posted...not much disc golf this year...played Ledgestone this weekend...MM1. after round one was sitting middle pack in 23rd. Day 2 found a wet muddy course with a rain delay after warm ups...muggy humid weather not the best for forehand throwers, but fought my way through it. Found myself sitting in 13th after a ok round.... Sundays final round moved over to a ball golf course..not my style of golf with big distance shots. layed up on the first hole to secure the par...birdied next hole..was off to a great start. Found trouble with 5 holes to go with two bad rolls into the OB carding a 7😞 spit out on another hole..other than that a solid round bumped me up into the top 10 finishing 8th over all. Great times with JT and everyone at the Ledgestone.

2015 Am Worlds was great fun...only played 50/50... 3 OK rounds and 3 horrible... Met alot of nice people and the weather was perfect!

After Day One of the 2015 PDGA Amature World Championships! I am sitting at top in the M pool after two rounds of play.

Arm seems to be working once again,with little pain. Finished 2nd at Large Marge A-tier, looking forward to a mild disc golf season! Thanks goes out to Pipe Dream Toys, Julie and JT.

After a few more weeks of arm strengthening, seems to be close to 100% Looking forward to the Large Marge B-tier next weekend! Get out and toss some plastic.
