It has been a journey that has brought us to Troy, OH. Our passion and experience has found us in the business of bicycles for a large portion of our lives! Joyce took the reins of Weitz Bicycle Shop in Wapakoneta in the early 90's from a wonderful man, Eddie Weitz. "Eddie taught me so much and I will always be grateful for him." J&D Bicycles came into existence in 2004 in Wapakoneta after Dennis

"married into the bicycle business." He has been riding bikes since 1982 after being inspired by Greg LeMond, and his 24 years of maintenance experience lends itself perfectly to the bicycle repair and build business. The decision was made to look for a location on the Great Miami Trail, and that led Joyce and Dennis to Troy, OH when they found 500 N. Elm Street, across the street from Treasure Island Park and a great shop that is 10 feet from the trail! Please stop in for simple, honest service, bicycles and even a cup of coffee.
