Ohio Baseball lost a special legend in the coaching ranks. John Cannizzaro was one the best HS Baseball coaches ever. He took Newark Catholic to 7 OHSAA championships. I had the great honor to have known him for over 30 years. A gentleman, a tough competitor and everyone’s friend. None better! God bless this man.

Announcing our 2022 Frosty Brown Fall Batting Leagues. Started in 1993, we we are the oldest fall batting league in, Ohio. We have 2 divisions. The original FBFBL is for high school and junior high players and play 3 nine inning games per week. The other is the Jr.FBFBL for boys & girls 9-12, plays double headers on Saturdays

Troy Post 43 Legends, looking for 2 pitchers to complete its 2022 roster. The Troy Legends have a 57 year tradition of excellence. The Legends are a travel team that also affiliates with American Legion and NABF baseball, and will compete in State and World Series play. Over 500 alumni have advanced to play intercollegiate baseball. 45 have signed pro contracts and 2 became major leaguers. Home games played at beautiful Duke Park. The team is coached by 52 yr. veteran, Hall of Famer, Frosty Brown. Brown won his 2500th game in 2021. The Legends finished 41-12 and were NABF Sr Division World Series Runners Up. We are filling up fast. Here are my current available time slots:
Mondays: 3:30pm , 4pm, 7pm, 8pm
Tuesdays: 4pm,
Wednesdays: 7:30pm
Thursdays: 3;30pm, 5pm, 8pm
Saturdays: 11:30am, 4:30pm, 5pm, 5:30pm
Sundays: noon,

AUG. 28th DEAD LINE, just 2 days away to register in 2021 FROSTY BROWN FALL BATTING LEAGUES.
The ORIGINAL FBFBL is for age group 13-18 plays 3-4 nine inning games per week. Games are played Monday thru Thursday nights at Duke Park in Troy. Players do not play daily. We use a special pitching machine that will throw an 82 mph fastball and 72 mph curve. Loads of hitting, fielding and base running. Cost is $100 per player for 16-18 games, weather permitting. Dead line: August 28th. Season runs Aug. 31st thru Oct 14.
For younger players, 9-12 we offer the Frosty Brown Jr Batting League, that also uses a pitching machine (45 mph). The Recreational League costs $75 per player and they will play 12-14 games weather permitting. All games played in Duke Park in Troy, Ohio. The Frosty Brown Fall Batting League was the 1st in Ohio and started in 1993. Deadline: Sept 8th Season runs Sept 11th- Oct. 16th.

Registrations for the 2021 FROSTY BROWN FALL BATTING LEAGUES still .The league started in 1994 and has served several thousand Miami, Clark, Darke, Shelby, Montgomery, and Greene county baseball players during those 27 years.
The HS age group plays 3-4 nine inning games per week. Games are played Monday thru Thursday nights at Duke Park in Troy. Players do not play daily. We use a special pitching machine that will throw an 82 mph fastball and 72 mph curve. Loads of hitting, fielding and base running. Cost is $100 per player for 16-18 games, weather permitting. Please Share- The Frosty Brown Fall Batting League was started in 1994. In those 27 years, we have served youngsters from the Miami, Darke, Shelby, Green, Clark and Montgomery Counies enabling them to play baseball in the fall, while the weather is still good. We have 2 leagues.
THE FROSTY BROWN FALL BATTING LEAGUE is for 13-18 year olds. 3 Games per week, Monday thru Thursdays. Season runs from August 30th (T) thru Oct. 14th Approx. 18 games plus play offs. Cost $100.
THE FROSTY BROWN JR FALL BATTING LEAGUE is for 9-12 year olds. Games are on Saturdays, 2 games each day.
Season will start on Sept.11th to Oct.16th , approx. 12 games weather permitting. Cost $75
