MEET OUR RECREATIONAL TEACHING TEAM! ✨ We’re getting ready for another great season of classes, and we’re excited to introduce you to the teachers who will be in the studio with our recreational dancers this year!

Our recreational faculty brings lots of experience and personality to the classroom, with a shared goal of helping dancers learn, grow, and have fun. From our Tiny Tots to our Teens, our teachers know how to keep class engaging while still building strong foundations.

Why does the dress code matter? ✨ It’s more than just making everyone look the part! Following our dress code helps create a class environment where dancers can feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn.

🩰 Safety & Technique: The right attire allows teachers to clearly see alignment, placement, and technique so they can give dancers the corrections they need.

💃 Focus: When everyone comes prepared and dressed appropriately, there are fewer distractions and more time to focus on dancing.

✨ Confidence & Professionalism: Coming to class prepared helps dancers build good habits, confidence, and a professional mindset from a young age.

We're so excited and honored to welcome Mr. Brandon to the NXTL Family starting this fall! 🩵 Mr. Brandon brings an incredible depth of professional performance and teaching experience, and we are so grateful for the opportunity for our dancers to learn from him this season.

Just some of the many highlights from his background ✨
• Current Assistant Artistic Director of Macomb Ballet Company and Lecturer in the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance at Wayne State University
• Choreographic Assistant on Disney's Oz the Great and Powerful & credited dancer in A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas
• Faculty member for the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Southern Association of Dance Masters, and Montana Dance Arts Association
• Guest performer and choreographer for college dance programs including University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Oakland University, Alma College, and Wayne State University
• Performed with Michigan Opera Theatre in Aida and The Merry Widow
