Blitz 12U kicked off their final tournament of the season with a big win! 💥🥎

We came into the weekend a little short-handed, but the girls were ready to compete. The bats were on fire, the defense was locked in, and everyone stepped up!

🔥 Maggie threw a no-hitter, with 4 walks, 2 groundouts, and 10 strikeouts.

đź’Ł Olivia crushed an inside-the-park home run, and her outstanding work behind the plate helped earn her the MVO!

We’re back in action Saturday at 2:15 PM and 5:45 PM. Go Blitz! ❤️🥎

We faced a pitcher with some good velocity last night, and the girls were ready to swing! Early in the game, they were a little too eager at the plate and chased a few pitches they probably could’ve let go. But as coaches, we’ll take aggressive over timid any day, and at least they went down swinging!

By the third inning, they made the adjustment. They became more patient, took their walks, started timing the ball better, and hit it hard. Not every hard-hit ball found a hole, but that’s softball. What mattered was the quality of their at-bats and the adjustments they made throughout the game.

Seeing these girls learn, adapt, and improve every game is what it’s all about! 🥎

Sometimes the scoreboard doesn’t tell the whole story.

We faced a very strong team last night with only 9 players, but these Blitz girls never stopped competing. They played with grit, trusted one another, and battled until the very end. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, hustle, and heart they showed on the field.

We don’t just talk about fundamentals—we teach them.

All winter long, our players work in small groups, focusing on footwork, mechanics, and getting quality reps. Those hours in the gym translate into stronger, more confident athletes when spring arrives.

Brunswick Blitz 12U is moving up to 14U! 🥎❤️🖤

During the winter, we practice weekly in a gym and every other week at All Stars Academy. We use that time to build strong fundamentals, improve skills, and help our players grow before the season even begins.

Some people wonder how much you can really accomplish in a small gym. The answer? A lot!
