Sometimes in life, you make friends. You have 4-legged friends too. For us here though, we have best friends.

Today, we said goodbye to one of our own - Maxx. He has been a part of our family for close to 15 years. When WLW and the Academy was in Eldon, he came running up to us while out to eat one night. We instantly knew our lives had changed for the best.

Ever since he came into our lives, he has fought many things - stomach ulcers, lymphoma (which he beat undeniably), and most recently kidney disease.

He never met a stranger and loved to make new friends. He loved his car rides, his sisters, and he absolutely loved visiting the Arena. He was the bright light anywhere he went.

To the one we called babyboy Maximus - our hearts are shattered and life won't be the same. Thank you for giving us the best memories that we didn't know was possible.

Until we meet again my pup - we love you 🐾💔

The news keeps coming in, and this is a big one.

Yesterday, we announced the first-ever territory classic taking place here at the Harley Race Wrestling Arena in Troy on August 15th.

On that day, we have a former champion attending the event. Not just any champion though, he is a former UFC welterweight champion in the days of when the company was just taking off.

We're are stoked to announce that Matt Hughes will be appearing in Troy, Missouri on August 15th. Matt will be attending the Meet and Greet. Details of the meet and greet, as well as the event, will be announced next week.

So many things took place Saturday evening and we will get to them all.

To start off though and as announced Saturday night, all of us here at NWA World League are proud to announce the first of its kind event taking place here in Troy, MO!

On Saturday, August 15th, the very first NWA Territory Classic will be held at the Harley Race Wrestling Arena. Stars from each of the territories will be in action including:

World League Wrestling
NWA Joe Cazana Promotions
NWA Chicago
Dogg Pound Championship Wrestling
TSW Texas Style Wrestling
KFW Wrestling
NWA New Mexico: Duke City Championship Wrestling
Fight the World Wrestling

Stars are still being decided, and the brackets are being set.

In addition to all of that, there will be a special guest on hand to meet the fans that night. Word has it, that person will be revealed this week.

Information for tonight's event:

We are completely sold out. We appreciate our fans so much for making this happen. Unfortunately, we do not have any tickets/seats left available.

We are keeping track of the weather and as of right now, we should be in the clear for the event.

The doors open at 6 PM and the event will start at 7 PM.

New WLW Merchandise will be available to purchase before the event and during intermission.

We have been allowed to use the parking lots in the picture and is outlined in blue - the ambulance district's front parking lot (please do not use the side parking lot) and the probation office parking lot, along with our parking lot.

Concessions will be available (cash only) and merchandise will also be available (cash and card).

We are looking forward to tonight's action, and seeing all of you there!
