Miami County's Great Miami Riverway Half Marathon is presented by Can't Stop Running Company.
The course starts near the Miami County Courthouse in Troy & takes racers on the scenic bike path north to Piqua where they will end close to Fort Piqua Plaza.

As the Great Miami Riverway Half Marathon inches closer, here is another activity on the Great Miami Riverway! The Great Float is coming up on June 29th with an after party at Treasure Island. Get registered and don't miss out on this fun event!

Paddle with us on the GREAT Float Thursday, June 29, 2 to 5 pm. After the exhilarating paddle, join us for an unforgettable after-party at Treasure Island in Troy, where you can unwind and connect with fellow paddlers.

Registration is mandatory, and we have options to suit your needs. You can rent a kayak, paddle, and life jacket for $50, or if you prefer, bring your own kayak or canoe for just $15. Transportation is included for all participants. The deadline for registration is June 14th, so make sure to secure your spot in time.

Here's the plan: Paddlers will conveniently park at Treasure Island and hop on a shuttle bus that will take them to Farrington Reserve. From there, we'll embark on our scenic float down the Great Miami River, culminating in the beautiful town of Troy.

After a thrilling day on the water, we invite you to indulge in an optional gourmet boxed dinner from Smith's Boathouse during the after-party. It's the perfect way to replenish your energy and savor the post-paddle moments.

The GREAT Float is proudly hosted by the Great Miami Riverway, in collaboration with the City of Troy and Miami County Visitors and Convention Bureau.
