Preparations are well underway for this years BYOP! We have sponsors signing up, I'll be out there this weekend clearing space for the new basket, and we have plans to make this the best event we have put on yet!

The date is September 13th, sign ups open July 14th.

We use this event as our main means of fundraising for the course each year, but still contribute most of the purse back to the players. If you want to help out our small operation, consider signing up, or helping out! We always need help with course work, supplies, raffle items, CTPs, and more.

Big thanks to KD Solutionz LLC , Apostrophe Eighty Seven Design and BIGred Food Truck and Catering for helping us out each year and continuing to this year. We are also happy to have the help of Chaffee’s Brewhouse this year, they were part of how we already got a new basket this year and plan to help out with this event as well!

Looks like its gonna be a beautiful evening tonight, looking forward to seeing everyone!

We will be starting a new ace pot (Josh is only allowed to win half of it from now on), I'll try and get home in time to grab some CTP discs to give out, and I would like to get some input on some possible options for additions to the course, so if you have any interest in that come on out and let me know what you think.

Good Morning, Dayton Disc Golfers!!!

The 2026 Dayton Match Play championship is officially open!!!

This year, we have 208 participants spread from Eaton to Urbana, and Lebanon to Wapakoneta. Over the next six months this tournament will have 231 matches bringing players together for some fun and competition!!!

This link here will be the most useful place for seeing details on the tournament. There's everything from the tournament's rules, which courses are in each region, the player list, sponsor detail and of course the BRACKET!!!

The bracket itself is on the "Bracket (Rd 256-Rd 8)" tab. If you're having trouble finding yourself, there's a "1st Round Help" tab where you can find your name and the cell location of where you are in the bracket.

If you can't find your opponent on Facebook, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to help connect you either through FB or text.

***Redemption***
As opposed to giving out 1st round Byes, we're bringing back the redemption spots from last year. While this is a single-loss elimination tournament, the first 24 (non-superpower) losers will be offered a redemption spot. This is essentially a 2nd birth entry into the Round of 128 where you'll be paired up with other redemption players. Six redemption players will be able to earn their way all the way to the round of 32! Thanks in advance for all of the players who schedule their matches early and secure one of these spots!

***Results***
After you've played your match, please have one of the players send either this account or Billy Page a message with either a pic of the scorecard or the course & score. That way I can get your results recorded and update the bracket.
