Comets Shaw is looking to add an experienced bracket pitcher by Fall 2026.

With many teams moving up to 12U this fall, there may be pitchers looking for the right place to stay down and still compete at a high level. 💪🥎

📍Practice Location: Troutman/Statesville NC

✨ About Us:
• Fall 2026 will be 2nd season of 10U
• Currently competing in Gold Bracket (Season 1)
• Strong, confident catchers ready to work
• Focused on development, reps, and building a competitive core

📈 Looking Ahead:
• 10U eligible through Summer 2027
• Team planning to move up to 12U Fall 2027

We’re looking for the right fit—someone who wants innings, growth, and to be a key part of a team that’s building something special.

Got my speed to about 50 and pitched to my girls tonight. Even threw a few change up in for fun. 🤪

I know they can hit the batting machine but they need to get more confident with a live faster pitcher. We will be doing this 1x a week until they are all hitting bombs. 🥎🔥

Proud of them tonight for staying in box and protecting the plate. 💜🩵💫

3rd tourney in the books! We tried our hand at Friday Night Lights at Jennings Park in Statesville. ✨🌌🥎

The Comets Shaw were paired with two of the hardest teams there. We invited the challenge! Unfortunately the weather went from 80 degrees to cold, windy and raining right before we took the field. The turf field was already a new challenge and added rain made it extra slippery. Regardless, all the pitchers and catchers had to fight through it.

Our first game the girls turned a true TRIPLE PLAY. Scarlett caught a short pop at 2nd, threw runner out on a lead at 2nd and Brinley Hager fired a missile to Caitlin Winters at home who put the tag on a runner trying to steel. Proud coach moment! It was softball at its finest. Our bats fell at little short and we lost by 1. But it was a great game!

Second game we played one of the best 10u team in all the land of 10u, NWNC Elite 2015, and our pitchers just had a tough time hitting their spots. And our bats still didn’t quite come through. We took a hard loss there and not our best in show. But we learn every time! And every dog has its day.

Third game we we Won! Raelynn Morris rocked it out at pitcher for her Team! Thankful to this powerhouse pitcher! 💪

Comets Shaw played until after 10pm. We ended FNL with 2 losses and 1 win.

🔥Major shout out to our MVP, Kennedy Hall, as she showed off her stretches/picks at first and hit 2 shots to outfield finishing with the best batting average for the team.

💪Scarlett Scott also showed out putting in hard work catching after battling the flu all week and assisting in the awesome TRIPLE PLAY!

Not sure if turf and late FNL’s are for us but it was a new experience and the girls gave it all they got.

🎥Comets Shaw Highlight ✨

Cadie Bjerke is a force! She has improved tremendously in the matter of a few months! 100% attributed to her positive, never give up, stay late and take corrections like a boss attitude!

Cadie has been working on her drag bunt for a very long time and last night she executed beautifully against a tough pitcher. Her speed allowed her to turn that into a triple on an over throw.

Her general swing has improved and she has been cleaning up at 2nd base and making running catches in center field. Her speed is unmatched!

We are very proud of you Cadie and glad you are part of our team!

As you know our oldest daughter, Ezra, has a little sister, Saige, which means it's almost time for this BATGirl to be upgraded to a real ball player. 💜💜💫🥎

Coach Jeremy and I would love to see who would be interested in trying out for the team!

We are seeking 2018's and STRONG 2019's. Depending on interest...season to start Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.

It was a great weekend. 19 teams competed. Comets Shaw won their first two bracket games seeded 4th in the Gold Bracket. Ultimately, they lost to Davidson and placed 5th out of 19 overall.

Super impressed with these girls as this is their 2nd 10u tournament. Way to go Comets!💫 💜🩵
