Luke D's Custom was a crazy idea thought up by 3 high school kids with a rad dream. Luke Davais, Sam Paris, and Josh Francisco derived the idea of small business that encompassed all of their talents and passions so that they could have a chance to do what they love for the rest of their life. The main drive for the small business was to start a career that involved what came naturally to them, so
that we could all stick together, and all live on the same street no less than 300 feet from a Taco Bell. In order to create this dream of a small business- we had to channel each of our individual kills and overcome all obstacles that couldn't be handled by one person. Sam Paris, a business major, was put in charge of logistics and number crunching- to make sure that the rest of us kept things realistic. Josh Francisco, a Graphics art major, was put in charge of the small business's logo, merchandise, and media involvement. He is also a large part of the advertising in that he has was the one to first introduce most of our customers to the company. And finally, Luke Davais(from which the original idea and the name was established), an art major focusing in Industrial Design and Product design, uses his engineering experience and creativity to design/manufacture the physical boards. These Three best friends are what make up the small custom board business- along with the help and support of parents and friends who made all this possible. From a cool idea discussed over Mt Dew and Little Caesars Pizza, to legitimate small business that has raised money for school and Mission trips to make the world a better place. This company's main goal is to introduce the diversity of skateboarding, to show the involvement of many aspects that go into a skateboard, and to use our skateboard productions in a way to leave things better than we found them. having already done this in some ways- we hope to improve in these aspects as long as our business grows.
