My 1st title fight ever 2007 . The death of American Kickboxing & Birth of Muay Thai in NC. In my opinion. And I know people was already fighting MuayThai but it really took off in the Carolinas @ this time for everyone.
I came ready to fight for the first IKF / PKB state title in NC but no one wanted to fight in American Kickboxing so I had to go MuayThai . I knew nothing of MuayThai at that time . Won 🥇 the first fight and second fight was Dominque Simmon from Fl whom is currently a UFC coach . One of my toughest opponents. I lost to split decision but was too injured to fight Mr. Rawlings that night I took home a broken jaw and a hurt leg from chopping kicks . Winning Bronze 🥉
Remember that when you put down point Karate & Kickboxing. This came from making the switch from full contact Ko boxing 🥊 2001 to 2005 .under hall of fame boxers has my instructors - Too coming a point fighter in 2006. Every fight is tough !

2006 - The very first kickboxing - IKF/PKB held in Indian Trails NC promoted by Kenpo karate Sean Griffin and Chris Coach.
I fought American Kickboxing and won against a very tuff opponents Travis Ledford and Scott Stephens along with my nephew Cody Campbell Grand champ of the kids division .
