Congratulations to these 5 athletic training student aides for earning their f***y packs!

In order to earn their f***y packs, they must complete and be competent in 7 skills including:
1. Proper Glove Removal
2. Blister Care
3. Laceration/Wound Care
4. Heat Pack Application
5. Ice Bag Application
6. Wrist Taping
7. Finger Taping

They must also be knowledgeable in our Emergency Action Plans, AED locations, and the uses and location of all athletic training supplies.

We’re back! 🎉 The last 2 weeks have been super busy as we welcomed our athletes back for football, volleyball and cross country. Our team of student aides have rocked it and made the last two weeks run so smoothly. We are so excited for the 2021-2022 school year and providing care for our tiger athletes! 🧡

Last month we welcomed 7 new students to our 8th grade Athletic Training Bridge Program. The purpose of the bridge program is to expose our middle school students to athletic training and teaching skills they can use once they join the High School Athletic Training program. This is Alea's first year in our athletic training program. She successfully completed her first season working as an athletic training student aide for the Tiger Varsity football team. In the spring, she will go on to her second sport assignment, Track and Field.

"Alea definitely adds some fun to our program. She may seem quiet at first, but once she's comfortable she brings lots of laughs (and sarcasm). She'll be the first to come into the clinic singing a Tik Tok song." -Miss. Soto

🚨Student Aide Spotlight🚨

M O R G A N!
Morgan is a returning student aide and a veteran to our program. She is one of the first to earn her letterman jacket in Athletic Training after successfully completing two full seasons with our varsity football program. Once football season is over, Morgan will transition to baseball and begin her second season as the Tiger baseball athletic training student aide.
