ANNOUNCING A WRESTLING OPPORTUNITY

Dear Wrestling Coaches & Parents,
Currently, we are exploring the possibility of the following wrestling tour:
Summer of 2028
WESTERN UNITED STATES WRESTLING TOUR - approximately a 7 week tour
The 2025 Tour was supposed to be the final trip. However, I was recently asked if I would consider doing another Ohio All-Star
Wrestling Team for younger wrestlers, as there are several 2025 Team Members that wish to go again, as well as several younger brothers, of of former team members, that want to apply.
This tour is still in the exploratory phase, waiting to see what all applications are received and if we feel we can put together another great group of youth wrestlers, both on and off the mat, to travel with.
We are looking for above average wrestlers who are quality individuals, both on and off the mat, to travel with and not necessarily looking for all STUDS.
For now, we are going to start naming a few "Conditional" Team Members, so that folks can see what type of kids we are looking for. However, no final decision as to whether we will do the Team will be made until early 2027 and no initial deposits would be due until around the Spring of 2027.
Since 1983, more than 700 wrestlers, representing 27 States + Canada have participated as a member of the Ohio All-Star Wrestling Team. These wrestlers have represented 27 different States+Canada and have gone on to win a multitude of State High School titles, as well as several taking home NCAA
Titles and All America honors in college.
Besides Ohio, other States that have been represented in the past are: CA-1, CO-1, CT-4, DE-7, FL-3, IL-3, IN-10, KS-1, KY-3, MD-16, MA-27, MI-19, NH, NJ-26, NY-16, NC-5, PA-81, RI-5, SC-1, TN-5, VT, VA-8, WV-13, WI-2, WY-1 and Canada-2
For now, I have started a 2028 Ohio All-Star Wrestling Team page, that individuals can join, that has team photos from 2012-2025, (we did not do Teams in 2020, 2021, 2023 or 2024), as well as a list of some more notable team
members that have participated since 2012.
Currently, the Team page has moved to Team Members and Alumni only. However, if you are interested in the Team, we will accept folks to the page for a period of one week, to see what the team is all about.

Again, at the present time, we are just seeing what interest there might be from wrestling families, both from Ohio and those from other States.
One thing to mention, while this is a wrestling tour and team members will get a good deal of practice and competition throughout the 6-7 week tour, it is also just as much of a "growing up/maturing" trip. In addition, there are also
a LOT of fun activities scheduled along the way, like whitewater rafting, baseball games, amusement parks, water parks, National Parks, Plays, Improv Comedy Lessons, Guest Speakers, etc...
Currently, we have made no final decision as to this, but hope to make a decision by early 2027, at the latest.

Also, just in case we do a 2028 Tour, I have started to contact Teams, just in case, to see if there would be any interest in hosting our Team, should we do the Team. So far, there seems to be a good deal of interest and have heard favorably back from several Teams that we have competed against recently, in
Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California, Nevada, Wyoming and Colorado, as well as some States we haven't visited for a while, like South Dakota, New Mexico and even Hawaii.
