Trenton Green Team The Trenton Green Team boasts broad representation of municipal agencies and community groups working to build a sustainable future for Trenton.

The Trenton Green Team includes broad representation of faith-based, small-business, non-profit, municipal and community agencies throughout the City, and advises the Mayor and City Council on ways to improve municipal operations with “green” initiatives which are economically and environmentally sound through research and evaluation. These initiatives focus on saving tax dollars, assuring clean a

ir and water, improving working and living environments to build a community that is sustainable economically, environmentally and socially; a community which will thrive well into the future.

Those responsible for pollution should pay for the damage: Shareholders of oil and gas companies. The Polluters Pay to Make New Jersey More Affordable Act would shift that burden from taxpayers to the companies responsible for environmental costs.

Thanks to Surface Technology Inc. on Lower Ferry Road for adding to the count toward our 250 Tree goal for 2026 by planting a dogwood tree for shade on their grounds. They are a recognized "green business" in town and we thank them for always stepping up to the plate. We invite other businesses and residents in town to join them in planting trees on their grounds too.
