The Pink Slipper Dance Academy Recreational and Competition Dance Classes The Pink Slipper Dance Academy was established in the Fall of 2008 by Miss Melanie Lassiter.

What began as a dream became a realtiy as she named the studio and began choreographing and teaching classes. Since that time, The Pink Slipper has grown and prospered. The Pink Slipper Dance Academy is committed to providing quality dance training for ages two and up. The studio has been recognized for their performances in Dancing Like The Stars (a scholarship program that Miss Melanie works wit

h and promotes), The Heritage Festival, and several dance competitions and conventions. All students are nurtured and personal attention is given in order to promote good self-esteem. All students are encouraged to work their hardest in order to prove that Jones County's girls and boys can perform with professionalism, grace, and spirit. Students have explored the art of dance and received special recognition this year. Through God, all things are possible as He continues to bless Miss Melanie and her precious students at The Pink Slipper Dance Academy. Dance Classes Offered:

Thank you to everyone who attended our 18th dance recital: “E-Motions”! I am so grateful for our studio family, our supporters, our helpers, those who prayed for us, and all our students who did such an amazing job. It really was a stunning performance filled with all the “feelings” for sure! May everyone have a fantastic summer break! Be sure to look for registration information coming soon!
