Dade Middle Cross Country Information:
We are looking for UPCOMING 6th-8th grade students that want to be BETTER athletes, BETTER young ladies and young men, and learn about PERSEVERANCE. Cross Country is a sport that can help you in every aspect of life. Join us this summer as we prepare to leave our LEGACY on the TOUGHEST Cross Country course in the tri-state area!

Ryan Morris clears 10’ 6” at the state meet in pole vault and will finish tied for 10th. We are very proud of his progress this year in making the state meet for the first time.

We have a new school record! Freshman Eleanor Henson just broke the record on her first throw with a toss of 32’ 8”.

The boys 4x800 relay team of Lane Johnson, Rock Chaney, Tanner Miller, and Preston Branch finished 11th in the state in their final race of the year.

We are so proud of them for representing all the way to the last day. We will miss our beloved seniors Lane, Rock and Tanner.

We have another senior that has officially signed to compete at the next level. Congratulations to Waylon McDill on signing with Covenant College! We appreciate friends and family coming to support him. Go represent on the mountain. Go Scots!

The boys 4x800 team of Tanner Miller, Rock Chaney, Lane Johnson, and Preston Branch BREAKS their own school record with a time of 8:49 and qualified for the state meet at UGA!

We have another athlete going to UGA for state! Junior Ryan Morris clears a PR of 11’ 6” and qualified for the final meet!

We are excited to announce that Senior Waylon McDill has committed to join the Covenant Scots Track and Field program.

He will be joining fellow alum Jack Dupree who has had a solid career so far as a distance runner. He will be the 4th active college signee the program has had in the last five years.

We are so proud of Waylon for all he has accomplished at Dade County, and we hope that he will continue to break records at the collegiate level. Go Scots!
