What a rewarding and memorable day for our 12 First Tee – Greater Trenton participants! Our students had an incredible experience at the Johnson & Johnson Student Mentoring Day, filled with inspiration, learning, and meaningful connections. The day included an engaging mentoring session, an exciting tour of the J&J Powerhouse, and concluded with a fun-filled experience at Topgolf.

First Tee – Greater Trenton sincerely thanks Munich Re America Services, Inc. for its generous $10,000 grant supporting our programming for underserved and underrepresented youth.

We also appreciate the donation of golf clubs, golf balls, and equipment from Munich Re employees, providing our participants with valuable resources to learn and grow.

First Tee – Greater Trenton proudly congratulates former participant Katie Lu on capturing the 4th New Jersey Women’s Open Championship at Canoe Brook Country Club! Katie’s impressive comeback earned her the championship trophy and the winner’s share of the $20,000 purse ($6,000). A special congratulations to her brother, Travis Lu, also a former First Tee – Greater Trenton participant, who was on the bag as her caddie. We are incredibly proud of Katie and Travis and wish Katie continued success both on and off the course.

First Tee – Greater Trenton proudly congratulates Max Beam on his outstanding performance at this year’s Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier. Competing against 35 boys in the Boys 7–9 Division, Max earned an impressive 2nd Place Overall finish, showcasing exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. With this remarkable achievement, Max has qualified to advance to the Drive, Chip & Putt Sub-Regional Competition this August.

The three day event brought together talented young golfers from First Tee chapters across the Northeast for an unforgettable experience. It showcased not only impressive golf skills but also the core values that define First Tee—honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, confidence, perseverance, and respect.
