Reminder - board meeting tonight!

TriCounty Little League Board Meeting
When: Sunday, August 23 | 7:00 PM
Where: MSU Extension Office, E3774 University Drive, Chatham

As we look ahead to next season, our board will be meeting to talk through some upcoming changes - including a few open leadership roles. Current openings:

-League President
-League Information Officer
-Player Agent
-Possibly others

If you've ever thought about getting more involved with the league, this is a great time. No experience required.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

All-Star tournament action is underway! Our TriCounty Majors opened play in Norway today against a tough Gladstone squad. The scoreboard wasn’t in our favor, but these kids never stopped working and cheering each other on through every inning.

They’re back at it Monday at 4:00 PM. CST

TriCounty Little League - Season Update ⚾

Things are moving right along, and we wanted to share a quick update on where everything stands as we head into the season!

-Schedules-
District 10 is actively building schedules right now. We've been told that Majors will be playing games starting May 4th. More schedule details will be shared as they become available.

-Head Coaches-
We're happy to report that head coach positions across our divisions are filled!

-Rosters-
Rosters have been handed off to head coaches (minus tee ball) and uniforms are being created. If you haven't heard from your coach yet, don't worry - you will be soon!

-Field Work Bees-
Our fields are going to need some love before the season gets going. Keep your eyes open for announcements about upcoming work bees. These days are always better with more hands, and every bit of help makes a difference.

We are still in need of a head coach for our Rock Tee Ball Team!

We have a group of excited players ready to get on the field - they just need someone to lead the way. If you've been thinking about getting involved, this is a wonderful opportunity.

The commitment is very manageable: the season runs roughly 6 weeks (May–June), with just one practice or game per week and two Saturday morning games for the season. Game scheduling is coordinated between our two TriCounty Tee Ball head coaches, so there's flexibility built in.

And if you're a little nervous about knowing what to do? We'll provide a complete, week-by-week coaching program with ready-made practice plans, drills, and more. You don't need to be a baseball expert to run a great season. You just need to show up and have fun with the kids.
