Day 7 was the last day of b.a.s 2026 we had 20 miles from Harlan to leatherwood a few mountains and a bunch of windy backroads stood between us and the finish , and I gotta say this year was rough. Mentally and physically, we had breakdown after breakdown. If it could have been an issue it was an issue , but we had beautiful weather , a killer group , everyone helped everyone , we had our first Toyota finish , congratulations Desmond Mooney , also had our first female complete the whole trip and than drive her rig home so congratulations Danielle Bailey , it was an awesome year , and we are already planning for next year , more miles. Day 6 was the last wheeling day , black mountain , Harlan Kentucky never disappoints , we ran rail bed , fish fossil , lower rock garden , and killin time , got to use our Crawler Offroad gear some , and earned some more body damage. It wasnt an easy day for the group at all , but we all made it back to camp under out own power , the rigs were definitely feeling the miles at this point , no real carnage for this day though 🤙

Day 5 was a road day , we were having a rather rough year this year , and the group decided instead of venturing further away from the starting point , we would cut it short and head back towards the start , we set sail to black mountain offroad park , we have hit this park in the past and its never been a bad time at all , nice winding back roads and a few mountain ranges stood between us and our final wheeling destination,

So with day 3 being plauged with breakdowns, the group decided to stay at windrock Park another night and get a full day of Wheeling in on day 4 , we lost one rig after his frame broke and he fixed it as good as he could with the premier power welder off chucks jeep, the rest of our group set out for breakfast, some minor parts and than went off to run trail 16 , this trail is pretty mild. Long with some challenges for sure , and the awesome scenery along the way , we found washed out sections. Some waterfalls , and some climbs that required winching for a few , also got a chance to use our GlueTread kit early on in the trail after we cut a sidewall. Glad we had that along with us otherwise it would have been a short day for sure 🤙

We have been slacking on our post from this year , lol we are already busy planning for 2027
So day 3 brought us to windrock. And everyone got plagued with issues , we hit 15 right away and had a jk throwing cam and crank codes , an lj stalling out under load , a Toyota losing its steering, its where we started having to chase issues and spare parts lol , but our Crawler Offroad gear saved a few of us , we checked out the new trail 20 scenery which was amazing. We all voted to go back to camp and sort our issues or atleast attempt to 🤙

Day 2 of b.a.s 2026 was a road day after a rough first day , we ran for parts , bandaided what we could and set sail for windrock park , 150 road miles was a gamble with a group of troubled rigs , we got some rain along the way ,

Day one of b.a.s 2026 brought us to leatherwood offroad park in slemp Kentucky, the group was plagued with issues so we didnt get much trail time in , which was a bummer , leatherwood is a massive park with alot to offer. Im sure we will end up back here again for sure , it was a great time in the woods as always
