✨Athlete of the Month for September: Ben✨

Youth Team Member Ben has shown consistent hard work, dedication, and commitment to training which have truly stood out. Ben has continued to show up, put in the work, and challenge himself and it all paid off when he completed his first Olympic-distance triathlon!

This is a HUGE accomplishment, and Ben should be incredibly proud of himself. Watching him grow as an athlete and take on new challenges is exactly what Rise Up Racing is all about!

Keep working hard, keep having fun, and keep pushing yourself to see what you can accomplish. We can’t wait to see what’s next for you, Ben!

“I recently completed my first Olympic distance triathlon at Steelman. I had previously participated in the Steelman sprint triathlon and the Lewisburg triathlon. Over the course of the summer, I practiced with my club swim team, biked mostly on my own, and ran with my high school cross country team to prepare for this race. I honestly performed better on race day than I expected, and I felt really good about it. Being a part of Rise Up is a great experience because it gives you access to a great community of experienced athletes, group workouts, and team gatherings.”

2026 Treasure Lake Triathlon Training Camp

Medal Monday✨🥇

Our team race at Back Mountain Tri was a success! Sarah took 3rd in her age, Roy took 1st in his age, Youth Team Member Eliana took 1st in her age, Warren took 3rd OA in the aqua bike and Liam got 2nd in his age and beat his last years time by 13 min!

Josh and Kristin B. took on the S.O.S Triathlon: Josh took second place in his age group despite forgetting his goggles, he still managed a strong race! Kristin B. had the fastest female bike split of the day and a wise race in her build to Ironman Chattanooga.

Claire had a strong race at the Sydney Marathon

🏅Medal Monday 🏅

Steelman Open Water Classic!
Youth team members Eliana and Braelyn did their first ever open water race with the 1-miler.  The water was calm and warm and they had a great time racing.  Cindy did the 2-mile race, snagging 1st in AG, 4th OA female.

Andy had a nice negative split and set a new Half Marathon PR at the Hellbender Half.

Hyner half - Kenny placed 10th OA and both John and Bailey had strong races  

Youth team member Amelia and her dad Tom ran the Hellbender 5k, Amelia got a 3 second PR in the 5k and won her age group!

Amazing job to all those who raced over the weekend!! 🎉
