I have written, quite extensively to the visionary types. Whether you work in an organization, run a business or have a solo-practice —> you have the gift of seeing what’s coming. But it’s lonely and often times unpopular.

I understand the double edge sword one must throw themselves over on occasion. It’s painful.

But timing is everything.

You cannot be overzealous and lose your assets but you cannot wait on an idea too long and lose the opportunity.

This isn’t about balance - it’s about tension. It’s a tightrope you must walk and ask others to trust the in between.

It’s a BIG day for my clients 🍒 They celebrated opening their store with a ribbon cutting ✂️ in the new downtown location! West Front & Pine next to Mundos.

All three generations of ladies from the Eckerle-Hankins family (and their husbands too!) have been working hard to make this happen.

A special shoutout to and and many, many more! for the rebrand and for carrying the design vision on!

What started as an idea a little over three years ago grew into a reality. What a legacy this family has created 🫶🏽 Teamwork does make the dream work and it really helps if you have the tenacity of a farmer 💪🏼

The REAL currency of our time is not the dollar bill … it’s 👇🏼

TRUST. How do you build trust as a business owner in a predatory economy?

Experience > knowledge > authority > power = trust!

This is how I know:

For decades I have sat with others and drawn out their knowledge and experience to demonstrate their authority and help them connect at a deep level with their ideal audience.

It takes a trained eye to do this work and it’s becoming increasingly obvious to me that it’s the only authentic way to build a business. I help clients extract and organize original thoughts to help position their message clearly.

And … while ChatGPT & Claude can give you prompts and organize content, it cannot reach the depth of a human story or perform magic 😉

This year the National Cherry Festival is celebrating 100 years! The candidates are going through a life changing process to become queen.

We focused on their WHY and how to tell that story and how to help others find their story too.

I’ve been telling stories since I was a kid and it’s never left me. Stories are remembered 22 times more than facts alone. When we write stories we are inviting meaningful connection. Doing it well is a craft worth learning.

This is necessary for your brand in business, making new friends, networking, social media and everyday interactions!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of teaching at Dana Black Speak with Courage class at Traverse Connect. It was my third time with her class and I will tell you - it’s a blast and 2 hours isn’t enough but it’s a solid start. She’s created a fun, interactive and brave environment.

I started in theatre, then emceeing in high school. Preaching at church events. Getting a communications and theatre degree. Followed by 10 years writing and co-hosting LIVE talk radio. Co-creating a storytelling event called Fulfillament where over a 100 entrepreneurs were coached on how to tell their story on stage. Writing for Traverse Magazine. In 2019 I joined FullTilt Comedy & in the last few years, telling at HereSay Storytelling and teaching at GreenDoor Folk School and coaching Impact100 grant writers.
