Maybe she’s tried a few activities and nothing has quite clicked yet. Maybe she loves to perform, tumble, dance, make friends—or maybe she has zero cheer experience and just wants to try something new.

✨ Drake Rec/Prep Cheer might be exactly what she’s been looking for.

Our Rec/Prep program is designed to give athletes the fun and excitement of competitive cheer without jumping straight into the commitment of a full travel season.

❤️ No experience needed — we’ll teach her!

What an incredible night for Drake Athletics!

A huge thank you to the TC Pit Spitters for inviting our athletes to perform during last night’s game. We were honored to be a part of such a fun community event!

From our youngest rec athletes to our elite travel teams, every athlete represented Drake Athletics with pride, energy, and heart. We couldn’t be more proud of the way they performed and supported one another throughout the evening.

It was also the perfect opportunity to debut our brand-new practice wear sets by Glitterstarz, and our athletes looked amazing! Thank you for helping our teams look as confident and polished as they performed.

Thank you to our families for your continued support and to everyone who cheered our athletes on. Opportunities like these create memories that will last a lifetime.

We had an amazing time and can’t wait to do it again! 💙🐉

Looking for a fun activity that builds confidence, coordination, and friendships? Drake Athletics has three brand-new classes starting soon, and registration is now open!

🐉 Cheer 101 (Ages 7–12)
Wednesdays | 4:30–5:25 PM
Perfect for beginners! Athletes will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, including motions, jumps, beginner stunts, teamwork, and confidence.

🤸 Mini Tumblers (Ages 5–7)
Thursdays | 4:00–5:00 PM
Build strength, flexibility, coordination, and body control while learning beginner tumbling skills like rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and more!

🥷 Lil’ Ninjas (Ages 3–5)
Mondays | 4:00–4:45 PM
A high-energy class featuring obstacle courses, climbing, balance activities, and games that help little ones develop confidence, coordination, and listening skills.
