🥎 What a season! 🥎
We had a fantastic night celebrating the 2026 season at our end-of-year banquet last night! It was wonderful to gather together, reflect on all the hard work, and hand out some well-deserved awards to this incredible group of athletes.
Thank you to all the parents, fans, and coaches who supported us every inning of the way, and thank you to everyone who made our banquet so special. Senior class—thank you for your leadership, your record-breaking bats, and the legacy you leave behind. Underclassmen—the future is incredibly bright!
The growth we are seeing across the entire program from top to bottom is a testament to these players' dedication:
Our Varsity squad finished with a fantastic 15-11 winning record—marking two more wins than the program has seen over the past two seasons combined!
Our JV squad put together a dominant 11-4-1 season, proving that the future of West softball is in amazing hands!
Along the way, our Varsity team put up some numbers at the plate and completely rewrote the Titan Record Books. From shattering records on the field to elite dedication in the classroom, these girls represented West with true pride.
🌟 Annual Team Award Highlights
We are so proud to hand out our two major annual program awards to a pair of incredible seniors who have poured their hearts into this program for four years:
Delaney Witkop ('26) – Gray Powell Titan Softball Award:
This honor is presented to a Varsity player who is a true asset both on the field and in the batter’s box. Delaney consistently elevated her teammates and helped the team reach its highest potential through her effort, performance, leadership, and competitive spirit.
Annika Yuncker ('26) – Kathy Breece Titan Softball Award:
This honor is presented to a Varsity player who consistently shows up for her team and leads with positivity. Annika is someone her teammates look to for guidance, encouragement, and support—a true leader both on and off the field.
