Traverse City Firearms Fundamentals Certified Instructor with over 30 years law enforcement & civilian instruction. I conduct a 1-day MI concealed license course. Stay safe, train & always carry.

Over 4,350 students served since 1994. Basic to advanced training available. Experienced NRA Certified Instructor from TCFF, LLC will conduct a one-day NRA Personal Protection in the Home course in a professional setting. This class meets all requirements to apply for a concealed pistol license in Michigan. Certificates will be awarded to successful students at the end of the class. Beginner shoot

Students must bring a handgun, 100 rounds of ammunition, and eye & ear protection. No Single Action revolvers please. Class Goal: To develop in the student the basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, to provide information on the law, and of the law-abiding citizen’s right to self-defense. Instructor: Tony Romanowski, NRA Certified Instructor since 1994, MCOLES Certified Police Firearms Instructor since 1998 (Grand Traverse County chief instructor 2014-2025), Northwestern Michigan College Police Academy Chief Firearms Instructor 2015 to current. Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response Trainer, U.S. Marine Corps Infantry and Presidential Honor Guard, Certified Glock, Colt and Sig Armorer. Cost: $125 (includes all class materials & range time)
Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required. When: 2025 Dates- March 13, April 17, May 15, June 12, July 10, August 24, September 14, October 8, November 1, & December 7. Call for other class dates or to schedule a personal or private group class. Classes start at 8am and normally finish by 6pm. Continue to train and pass on your skills to the next generation. Yesterday was the 4 annual Father’s Day shoot put on by me and and a good friend. Thank you to all who attended for keeping it safe and enjoyable for everyone who attended. We had over 60 in attendance. It was shooting followed by dinner. Train and always carry a gun.
