TEAM 1711, The Raptors, are committed to Inspiring FIRST in: our own team, other teams, and the community. We are Regional Leaders in FIRST assisting all teams in Northern Michigan, to the next level through our events like Super Science Saturday. Team 1711 is a key community member, bringing in people from all backgrounds to experience the fun and excitement of FIRST. Previously our page was FRC TEAM 1711 RAPTORS.

What a fantastic Saturday for Team 1711 RAPTORS! 🦖🍒

We were proud to represent our team in the National Cherry Festival Parade alongside Steel Sturgeons 9176 and TC Titans FRC 3767. Thank you to our incredible sponsor, Cone Drive, for helping make this opportunity possible!

Before the parade even began, our team spent the morning volunteering at the National Cherry Festival Races, giving back to the community that continually supports us. Whether we’re building robots, serving others, or celebrating local traditions, we love finding ways to connect with our community.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on during the parade—we’re grateful to be part of such an amazing community and can’t wait to see you at our next event!

Earlier this week, Team 1711 gathered for our annual banquet to celebrate and wrap up an unforgettable 2026 season. We are so grateful for everyone who came out to support us and for all of the sponsors, parents, mentors, alumni, and community members who helped make this season possible.

One of the highlights of the evening was recognizing students who earned their varsity letter this year, honoring the time, dedication, and hard work they put into our FIRST Robotics team. Thank you again to everyone who supported us throughout the season — we can’t wait to see what’s ahead as we begin our off-season journey! 💚🦖
