Our goal is to develop the compulsory movements beneficial in improving speed, power, and lateral movement. Our participants train in age specific groups while emphasizing the importance of individual responsibility and commitment to their own development. Workouts are designed utilizing sport specific drills that help the individual reach their training goals. FSQ believes that all athletes need
to be directed toward a path that enables them to be successful. Our programs utilize the basic fundamental skills needed to assist the athlete in achieving their goals. Owner Tim Cortazzo envisioned an environment that would be conducive to assisting athletes in reaching their full athletic and genetic potential. An inducted member to the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, Tim's resume includes 28 years of coaching high school sports with 25 of those years working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. He has trained World Class, Professional, College, High School, and Youth League Athletes. Some of these athletes include a former member of the U.S.A. Bobsled Team, National Football League players, and many Division 1 athletes. Tim's son, also named Tim, wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps. Growing up in the Penn Trafford Area, Tim was one of the top Wide Receivers and football players in his graduating class of 2007 in all of Pennsylvania. He was selected to play in the Big 33 All-Star Football Game upon graduation (there has NEVER been a Super Bowl without a Big 33 alum) and attended the University of Toledo on a full-scholarship. At Toledo, Tim earned a starting role at WR with the Rockets and helped lead the team to the Little Caesar's Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit. He was also featured on ESPN's Top 10 Plays for his touchdown catch against Bowling Green. Graduating with a degree in Exercise Science, Tim decided to get into coaching football. After stints at Duquesne University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he accepted a position at The Ohio State University to work with the Buckeye Football Team as a Strength and Conditioning Intern working under Head Coach Urban Meyer, Head Strength Coach Mickey Marotti, and many other great coaches. Tim is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified through American Red Cross.
