Some great highlights from Week 3 Athlete Summer Camp! Every High School in town has been represented at our camps and it has been amazing to see these boys and girls progress and actually yield results from a program instead of just showing up and going thru some random form of training. I always tell people that in order to truly figure out your goals and understand them, we need to utilize a proper form of assessment before we begin any journey in the gym. It isn't just about what are my goals, but why do we have these goals, and how long will it actually take to achieve these goals? Are my goals realistic and should I be measuring my results so I can actually visualize my progress? Will I have to go on a diet, how much do I eat, do I eat after a workout? Why aren't I losing any weight? Any one of these can make you lose sleep at night and really put a damper on this process, so that's where I come in. With close to 12 years of coaching and helping numerous people achieve their goals, I am here to help you achieve the same! Here is your daily shot of mobility! Do your forearms and wrists give you issues, especially during front squats or anything that requires you to utilize your front rack position? Whether you have any issues or not try this mobility still out, start with a 15lb barbell and work your way up to a heavier bar. Spend 2 minutes on each side, while laying on your side, bring over the opposite leg and place it on the bar for even more pressure, find those trigger points and start feeling better today!

Do your little athletes need a place to train? Even if they don't plan on playing sports our goal is to showcase the importance of living an active, healthy lifestyle. Training doesn't always have to be associated with sport, just having a body of your own makes you an athlete. It just takes a great coach and mentor to help you find that inner athlete! If you are interested in getting your kids or even teenagers into the gym we are already offering team rates and individual coaching and our results have been nothing but amazing!
