Things started off a bit slow here for us at NPL Finals in Denver Colorado. We gave up a goal in the first couple minutes into the game, not a good start in group stage of Nationals! The girls kept calm & forged on coming back to score two in first half. 2-1 up at half time we were able to make some adjustments and score three more in the second half. A hand ball in the box gave Illinois a PK and the game ended 5-2 in West Coast favor. On to the next game today, we must handle hottest temperature of the day 102 degrees projected at kickoff and we are at altitude. I love navigating through these types of events with players and teams. Positive thoughts! Let’s go West Coast!
