Getting outdoors after work in Pittsburgh

I spent the day outside today for work. Sunny, not too hot but covered in mud
and roofing debris. Not what I call ideal but still outside so that was good. Went back to my hotel to take a shower and decided to go to see a Pirates game. What a beautiful stadium and the surrounding scenery is great. I had no skin in the game so I just enjoyed the sites and the people watching. It was a beautiful night.

Falling Water was an amazing side quest on my way to Pittsburgh.

Side Quest Complete! I made a quick stop at Falling Water on my way to Pittsburgh for work. This iconic summer home is the perfect blend of inventive architecture and the natural landscape. Frank Lloyd Wright was way ahead of his time.

Took a quick trip to Sykesville, MD today. I have never been to this cute little historic downtown before and I really liked it. Pretty much everything seemed close around 3/4pm on a Sunday so luckily I was able to find a nearby trail to explore. Came home with a little treat (see last picture). Even talked to someone on the trail which I rarely do. Great day. Hope to do it again soon.
