That's a wrap for the Byrnes Rebels Fishing Team's 2025/2026 fishing season with the PBC High School Tournament Trail. This season saw huge growth in the middle school division, as well as strong leadership from our veteran anglers. The team finished 3rd place overall in school points for High School; as well as 2nd place overall in school points for Middle School. We had three top 20 AOY point finishers in the High School division, and two top 20 AOY points finishers in the Middle School division. Additionally, the team has three team members who have qualified to fish nationals over the summer, with two others anxiously awaiting confirmation if they have also qualified. We will be cheering them on as they travel to Kentucky Lake in July.
This season has seen tremendous improvements among our anglers, and it was fun watching them doing what they love. The future of the Byrnes Rebels Fishing Team is still very bright. We are extremely proud of ALL of our teams!

Thank you to Victoria Hall for ensuring that we always had pictures of student anglers to show off to our supporters.
Thank you to the volunteers who pulled our team trailer to events.
Thank you to the volunteers who showed up early at each tournament to set up our team canopy, as well as those who helped take things down after each event.
Thank you to the volunteers who helped at each of our team sponsored events. This includes our team tournament, Christmas banquet, fundraisers, Clarks Hill team meal, and year end banquet.
Last, but definitely not least, thank you to all of our sponsors and those who continue to support our team. Without your support, we would not be able to do the things that we do for our student anglers.
Looking ahead to next season. Go Rebels!
