Tonight we closed out our final home meet of the season — and honored our incredible 8th graders who have given their heart, grit, and leadership to this program.
To our 8th graders:
You’ve battled on the mat, pushed through tough practices, supported your teammates, and helped set the standard for what it means to be a Jr Cardinal. Watching you grow — not just as wrestlers, but as young men — has been an honor.
We also recognized our two Iron Man Award recipients — Chris Riedel & Lucas Moran — athletes who have been part of this program since kindergarten/1st grade. Years of early mornings, long tournaments, hard-fought matches, and unwavering commitment. That kind of dedication is rare, and it’s what builds the foundation of a strong wrestling family.
This program is better because of each of you.
Your legacy doesn’t end here — it continues in the teammates you’ve inspired.
