Today marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on our country. We pause to remember the 2,977 people who were killed that day, the thousands injured, and the countless number of people forever impacted by these horrific acts. We Will Never Forget.

Tomorrow before all five of our Adult Softball games at Craven Field, in remembrance, we will observe a moment of silence followed by the playing of our National Anthem.

Starting today, Craven Field will be closed through Friday, August 28th for renovations. This includes both the Field and Batting Cage.
The Spaulding Field Complex will remain open and available for use during this time.

Are you looking to play in a relaxed adult coed slow pitch softball league? One that is specially designed for everyone of all ages to be able to go out and just have a good time? If so, we have the place for you! Our league is open to players from anywhere too!

Each team plays one Saturday game per week and could be anywhere from 10:30am to 4:30pm, starting August 29th and going until October 25th. Life is busy, so we plan for most people to attend about 5 of their 8 regular season games.

TAYBS, we lost a teammate and a friend yesterday.

PJ Roy
October 30, 1980 - July 8, 2026
R.I.P

PJ loved the comradery and competition of playing fall ball with us. PJ brought friends and co-workers together over the years on the diamond and in typical PJ style made new friends along the way. He also loved a good steamed hot dog or two.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Fitchburg High School Auditorium, 140 Arn-How Farm Road, Fitchburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fitchburg Fire Community, mailed to 33 North Street, Fitchburg.

The Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
