Come on down to the Sanford Field House tomorrow (2/18) at 2 PM for the second ever Cody Tipton Memorial Invitational. The Jabberwock face off against Williams College at 2, Williams takes on Hamilton College at 3:30, and then we play against Hamilton in the final game at 5.

It's and today we're congratulating our teammates on their accomplishments from this past season.
Our four Jabberwock captains Michael O'Brien, Ethan Jones, Jp Letourneau, and Zachary Lazow made it onto the 1st Team for All-Region D-III Metro East in the men's division.
Ethan "Bones" Jones was also named the region's player of the year, and Ben Reiser made it onto the region's all freshman team!
Y'all are ballers. Now go play some summer league and show them who's boss!

Up next is everyone's favorite captain, this year's Honorary Vibe Member, and the most passive aggressive GroupMe-er around: Zachary "Oz" Lazow. [Our author has been reminded not to capitalize the "z." What an incredibly stupid mistake!]

Hometown: Morganville, NJ
Major: Economics and Computer Science
Favorite throw: Hammer because

Next year Oz will also be adulting to the max as he'll be working at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York examining Cybersecurity and Automated Trading Systems. Whatever, sounds basic af.

On the field, Oz's favorite memory is winning the Canisius tournament last Fall by "hand blocking a dude" before throwing a game winning hammer to Eric Weicht. Off the field, Oz has fond memories of the Highlighter Pub, High Tide 2016, and most importantly taking the Game 7 W in World Series for Team Olds.

Will his final words cast a wizardly spell over us?: "I love you all."

Our next senior to be recognized is one of this year's Vibe captains, Dani "Dino" Osman.

Hometown: Mercer Island, WA
Major: International Relations with a minor in Japanese
Favorite throw: Flick "because it's the most likely of all my throws to go in a straight line"

Next year Dani will be heading to Seattle in search of employment. Should that plan fail, she will be "living in a cave."

As she departs Colgate for good, Dani will always hold dear her memories of the Vibe taking the gold at High Tide this 2016 season. She also has nothing but good memories from all of the High Tide spring break trips she attended and will always have a special place in her heart for Winter League.

Her parting remarks for the Jabbervibe: "I joined frisbee freshman year to procrastinate doing homework and I've never made a better academic decision. I'd be nowhere without this team; love you all!!!"

The time has now come to recognize our captainiest Jabberwock captain, JP Letourneau. JP also goes by "Jip" and "Muscle Hamster."

Hometown: Centerport, NY
Major: Political Science
Favorite throw: Low-release IO Backhand
Catchphrases: "Bam-Ba-Lam," "Tad's a baby," and "hashtag whisper"

Next year Jip is looking to be working in the media, probably in NYC. Regardless of where he ends up, Jip will be utilizing his First Amendment rights guaranteeing a free press to bring down the establishment.

JP looks back fondly on the Jabberwock's W against Williams at the NE Classic this Fall. This victory lead to this famous tweet: "Colgate takes the W from Williams 15-8. I guess they are just illiams now!!! Haha!! Bones is hilarious! "

Off the field, JP's favorite memories are Chloe Matonis's first pub (awwwww) and Cap'ns Paddle. [Our author would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that she is still a captain and has still never been invited to paddle.]

Our next Jabberwock senior to be recognized is the Milkman, otherwise known as Justin LoScalzo.

Hometown: Huntington, NY
Majors: Political Science and Economics
Favorite throw: High release flick--his natural flick and "best throw." Justin is proud to share this trait with this equally injury resistant alum: Wil "Most Handsom" Crieberman-Libbin.
Catchphrase: "The milk's gone bad!"

Next year, Justin will be headed to DC to work for the establishment.

Justin's favorite memories on the field are when he made a return to Winter League following what a doctor would diagnose as a torn ACL, but what Cody would describe as a "minor injury," and being "hatched" as the team's official Jabberwock. Off the field, Justin has loved getting to watch the Jabbervibe family grow over the years as we have welcomed new members to the team.

Here are Justin's parting words for the team: "Thank you Jabbervibe members, past and present, for making Ultimate Frisbee a highlight of my Colgate experience."

Coming up next is one of our ladydude seniors, Sale Rhodes. She's known for being by far the most affordable member of the team. You'll never find a bargain quite like her.

Hometown: Seattle, WA
Major: Biology and Environmental Studies
Favorite throw: "I like to catch"

Next year, Sale will be going on a month long paddle boarding trip before moving to San Francisco where she will definitely be joining up with a club Ultimate team in the area.

Her favorite memories with the team include "high tide 2016 all of it" and the Vibe's incredible performance at our scrimmage against Hamilton indoors this winter. It was by all means "a MAJOR highlight of vibe life and general life."

Sale would like to leave the team with these parting words: "I apologize for crying but I'm truthfully not sorry bc ily and I'm sad to leave the jabbervibe."

Our next senior to be recognized is another one of this year's captains: the one and only Michael O'Brien aka MOB. (Also answers to "Mom." We've tested it.)

Hometown: Larchmont, NY
Major: Biochemistry
Favorite throw: Inside flick because he's "gotta throw them breaks"

He has no plans for next year but hopes to be doing "research or something." We're sure no matter where he goes he'll be out there throwing some discs, laying out egregiously, and wreaking havoc in GroupMe's and at freshman jug nights far and wide.

On the field, Mob's favorite memory is winning winter league his freshman year. Off the field, he'll never forget his famed "slide into home." We'll surely never forget that one either.

A man of few words, Mob would like to leave the team with a streamlined "Bambalam."
