It’s a beautiful day for a swim meet!

The Torrington Sharks kick off their season, hosting a meet at The Shark Tank, aka the DJMP - Torrington Pool.

Sharks hit the water at 9 a.m. and will swim events all day! Come cheer on your favorite swimmer and see all the early mornings and hard work pay off!

💥💥Calling all Torrington Sharks 💥💥

You are officially invited to the first annual T-Town Shark Showdown!

According to local meteorologist Don Daze, current forecasts indicate a 0% chance of swim meet, but a 100% chance of Sharks creating a disturbance at the Torrington Pool. Forecasters are also tracking scattered races, strong currents of friendly competition, and isolated outbreaks of cannonballs.

Since the Hemingford meet was canceled, we're hosting our own T-Town Shark Showdown (aka The Torrington Fun Meet)!

All Torrington Sharks are invited to join us:

🦈 Saturday, June 6
🦈 5:00–6:30 p.m.
🦈 Torrington Pool

The night will feature intersquad races, fun challenges, and plenty of opportunities to practice starts, turns, finishes, and race-day routines.

Bring your suits, goggles, towels, and sense of adventure. Shenanigans may ensue.

Summer is coming and that means...SWIM SEASON!!

**Registration is now open for the Torrington Sharks Swim Team!**

Here's the basics:
*Cost - $70 ; includes practices, coaching, and meet fees.
*Season starts the end of May and runs through July 11, 2026.
*Practices are M-F at the Dale Jones Municipal Pool in Torrington, Wyoming (6:30-7:30 a.m. for 13-18; 7:30-8:30 a.m. for 12 & Under)
*Meets are on Saturdays in June and July 11. You determine what meets to participate in. Torrington's home meet is June 13.
*Registration closes May 24, 2026.
*Swimmers must be able to swim 1 length of the pool without stopping to be eligible for the team.
