Torrance High School is organizing a Rummage Sale to benefit 7-year-old Cole Ziello, son of THS Attendance Office Assistant Liz Feltham and Nicholas Ziello. Cole, his mom and his step-dad Randy were involved in a serious car accident in early December and he remains in the hospital.

We are accepting donations January 8-12 and January 16-19 from 7:30am to 3:30pm in the Administration Building on Carson Street. We will also do porch pick-up in Torrance and Lomita only on those days in addition to Saturday, January 13. E-mail us at [email protected] if you have questions or need something picked up from your home.

We are collecting Clothes, Shoes, Purses, Ties, Accessories, Jewelry, Toys, Board Games, CDs, DVDs, VHS Tapes, Electronics & Computers & TVs & Cellphones & Calculators (working or not), Home Decor, Collectibles, Artwork, Bedding, Curtains, Tools, Musical instruments, Bicycles/Scooters, Sporting Goods, Lawn & Garden items, small furniture and anything else you can think of!!!

Keep in mind that you'll find out that nothing that comes easy is worth a dime. As a matter of fact, I never saw a football player make a tackle with a smile on his face. Never.

So always work hard and stay focused, because you're doing that so that you can invest in you, and your future!
