Instructor Biography:
Ginger Taniguchi began her training in 1988 and earned her black belt under the late Shorin Ryu karate sensei, Sensei Richard Rabago, in the latter serving as the senior instructor until his passing, and maintaining the school until Togisala Shorin Ryu Karate. She is a graduate from the Los Angeles Trade Technical College and California State University Dominiguez Hills, and
the mother of three children. Sensei Ginger has a background in human services, youth counseling, and special needs. She serves as the senior instructor for Sensei Butch Togisala-Togisala Shorin Ryu Karate, and instructor for Sensei William Christopher Ford's - Kaizen Dojo, both in the lineage of Sensei Richard Rabago. She is the instructor of the South Bay Faith Academy karate class in Redondo Beach, CA. Sensei Ginger also taught classes and private lessons for Camp Pendleton Marine Corp- Children and Family Services in Oceanside, CA. and Progressive Martial Arts, Special Needs Classes in Yorba Linda, CA. She loves teaching her special needs karate class "Inspire," and Karate Kardio + Robics (KKR) in Torrance, CA. In 2013, Sensei Ginger was inducted into the Masters' Hall of Fame. Along with her kids, she continues to train and improve her skills to grow as an instructor as a karate-ka. However, she is passionate about her calling, United Martial Artists for Christ South Bay. Her purpose, the Lord's calling, and her whole heart is the fellowship in serving the one and only master, the one true King, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. United Martial Artists for Christ South Bay is a bible-based organization with a mission to bring the Gospel to today's youth and their families. The message that is given is the gift of everlasting life from our creator through our Lord Jesus Christ!
