Can you find yourself in the 2022 Toquerville Trails Turkey Trot? It was quite the turnout considering the cold wind blowing 25mph!

Layne Garner founded this race after moving to Toquerville 18 years ago. Today was his 18th time running as the turkey and his 66th birthday! He's run at least 14 marathons, including the Boston marathon (we sort of lost track). He is also a nutrition coach at Premier Health. Next time you see him, feel free to chat about running, the Toquerville Trails Turkey Trot, or nutrition. He is a well of knowledge on each topic and loves to get to know other runners.

November is a time for gratitude and we want to say a big THANK YOU to Layne for starting this race and organizing it each year since!

Thanks to everyone who came out to run today, continuing our favorite Thanksgiving family tradition! We hope it was a memorable experience, even in the chilly wind and some confusion about the course. It's always an adventure! Happy Thanksgiving! More pictures to follow.
