The track took another beating. Hoping it will dry out today with the sun and we can get out to work on it tomorrow.

A reminder to please stay off the track as it is drying!! We already have some bike tire tracks to fix from someone yesterday.

Thank you all for being patient and understanding as it is extremely frustrating!! We want to race just as bad as everyone else does.

We have worked so hard to get up and going this season…. Some small things we’ve accomplished include getting the buildings painted and the turf laid. We want to thank our volunteers for helping accomplish these two major tasks! We have a little more planting to finish up when the weather wants to cooperate.

We had the track in decent shape yesterday, but after the rain today, we will need more help getting the turns and some of the straights back in shape.

Monday, June 8 we will be at the track starting at 5 pm trying to get it back in shape so we can have a race this week on Wednesday. *this is dependent on if we can actually get into the track to rake if it is dry enough.. there will be a post tomorrow letting you know for sure*

Please come help us, the more people we have the easier it is on everyone and the more we can get done in a timely manner.

We appreciate everyone who has helped and continues to help us. Now everyone please do your best RAIN GO AWAY dance so we can go race!

WORKDAY - Saturday, June 6 - 10AM start

We are working the turns and shaving the “lumps” and working the rain ruts. Once turn 1 is done, we will start to work the straights. Bring a rake if you’ve got one!

We are going to have another workday tomorrow 6/2. Come on out starting at 4 and help us rake the turns, mow, paint a little more, and get the place spruced up!

The track is drying nicely but soft in a few places still.

Track conditions are not ideal after the monsoon we got Saturday and then last night. Hoping it will dry more and we can put some rakes on it to get the new ruts out.. 😭

Practice 6/1 is canceled. We will be out tonight during practice time to see what else we can do and to paint the buildings and clean up the grounds.

Racing for 5/30 is canceled. The overnight rain and more on the way (per weather people) we will not have enough time to get the track dried and prepared adequately.

We are hopeful to host our first race next week 🤞🏼 please stay tuned!

Many hands make light work!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to help us get the track dialed back in. We would not have been able to get it in shape had we not had everyone out there helping us. There are still a few things that need to be worked in, but opening day is quicker than we thought!! Stay tuned…. 😬
