Topeka Area Catbackers We are your home for the Topeka Catbackers! Catbacker Clubs are co-sponsored by the KSU Athletic Department and the K-State Alumni Association.

Catbackers are volunteer boosters from across Kansas and out-of-state who join together as organized clubs
in regional areas or major cities. The Catbacker family includes alumni, friends, former students and parents of Kansas State University students. Started in 1982, the Kaw Valley Catbackers (KVCB) is the largest Catbacker club. Its name has been changed as of 2011 to the Topeka Area Catbacker

s to recognize its members proximity to Topeka and the surrounding communities. We welcome any K-state fan from anywhere. Membership includes newsletters, opportunity for bus trips to football games, and discounts to sponsored events. Your membership dues cover the cost of mailings and contribute to the Mike Ahearn Scholarship Fund for student-athletes.

In August of 2021 Spencer B. ’21 started posting videos of his Wichita, Kansas, based mowing projects on social media. “I was pretty addicted to YouTube,” he said. “I made my videos around what I liked to watch.” It took off from there.
