Just an update...classes are currently on hold at least a few more weeks. I see an orthopedic hand specialist on July 24 and will have a better idea at that time of when classes will start again.

The longer I train both Kyusho and Aikido the more I see them working together. With that in mind, beginning April 1, Aikido classes will run from 7:00-9:00 instead of 7:30-9:00. Classes will still be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This change will give us a dedicated segment during each class to study Kyusho and learn how these points can be used within Aikido.

By continuously portraying, and referring to, sexual predators as monsters and demons, we conger up a certain image. This image is misleading and causes us to lose sight of the human element of the perpetrator.
The problem and danger with this, is that victims are caught off guard when the perpetrator is their father, their grandfather, their uncle, their brother, their cousin, their neighbor, their coach, their teacher, their acquaintance or their friend.
