Weston’s favorite track did not disappoint - he came home with 2 wins and a podium finish in every class. We had a couple more family firsts this weekend too - an all dad podium (racing wrapped at 1:45 am) and Weston’s sister had the opportunity to sing the national anthem!

Full Circle Moment! Weston got his first NASCAR Youth Series national win right where it all started! What an unbelievable journey it’s been and he’d like to take this chance to thank every single person that has played a large or small part in getting him here today, with THE MAN Wil Raber right on top of the list!

One of the coolest parts of the annual Battle at the Brickyard is when the kids get to take a lap around the big track. Weston was lucky enough to do it last year too, so this year he thought he’d try something different and come back on the Trailer of Shame. Unfortunately dad forgot to hit record on the GoPro, but at least we put dads phone in his pocket so he could take this selfie from the trailer and call mom to tell her his motor blew 😂

It was a great week in Indianapolis. We celebrated 250 years in style, at the most famous race track in the world, and still made it home for fireworks. Weston went into it with a great attitude and was rewarded heavily by being one of just 3 fortunate drivers to have 5 cars in the a main features. Unfortunately IT WAS HOT, and going from car to car in 100 degree heat for 4 hours straight takes a lot out of an 11 year old, which probably put him at a bit of a disadvantage. We’re extra proud of how he handled himself during that time and while he didn’t come home with a coveted brick, he was right there competing for one and that’s pretty awesome.

WHAATTTT!? This kid has raced his way into ALL 5 A main features at the BRICKYARD! To even make one at the biggest national race of the year is a massive achievement but to get to 5 of them!? What a drive it’s been so far.
