Due to worsening trail conditions from the ongoing storm, this Saturday’s Boney Mountain Trail Run has been rescheduled to May 10, 2025.

We won’t shy away from a good run in the rain, but, State Park concerns regarding the weather say otherwise. All participants have been emailed with options for the new date.

Please safely enjoy the weekend and see you on the trails soon!!

Part 2. Boney Mountain sunrise run!!

Only two weeks until the 2025 season kicks off with our epic backcountry half-marathon and 7k trail adventures. If you’re missing the trails, this is your chance to let loose!!

The race starts and finishes at Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa National Park and loops through the most spectacular trails of Point Mugu State Park. This northern section of the Santa Monica Mountains was not impacted by the LA fires, and we’re fortunate to be able to donate event proceeds to families that did lose their homes.

We love our local mountains and the amazing trail networks around LA that allow us all to do what we love!!

But, while nature grows back, homes lost in the recent fires do not...and, that is why we’re donating proceeds from our next 3 races to help rebuild the community.

We are grateful for our community and volunteers. In 2024, our amazing community put in over 1,300 hours to make our races possible. 🙌

YOU are the secret sauce!!

Sometimes this means waking up extra early to ensure parking and registration goes smoothly. Other times, it’s getting on the course to cheer runners at the aid stations. At the festival, it could be giving runners their hard earned medal, serving food or making sure we follow protocol so we can keep having a beer garden at our races.

These are just few of many things our volunteers do…and we are THANKFUL for each and every one of you.🙏

Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by the Los Angeles fires. The support from within our community fills the heart in these difficult times, and we hope everyone is staying safe.

We are taking things one day at a time. As many of you may know, SoCalTrail HQ (Tina and Daniel’s home) is in Topanga, which is currently in the path of the Palisades Fire. They are safe and thankful for the amazing firefighting teams doing incredible work in the mountains.

Once this is all over, there’ll be opportunities to volunteer with our Trail Work Team to help restore the mountains we all love. 🙏

The 2024 Singletrack Stampede was a wild one…and what a ride it was!!

Welcome to the core of the 2025 season!!

We’re thrilled to kick it off with the “Trail 1/2 Series” where runners get points racing the most exciting trail half-marathons in Southern California, ending with the only trail race on Thanksgiving in Los Angeles.

It’s also year 3 of our amazing partnership with and our summer Bulldog Challenge Series!! Work your way up from a 10k, a 25k and finally a 50k to earn the Bulldog Challenge jacket. It’s no joke and you do get bragging rights!!

So, head to our link in bio for more challenging trail racing, cash podiums, beer & tacos and incredible race photography all year ‘round from February to our Season Finale at Crystal Cove in December.
