KENTUCKY friends we have donated a hunt to help this young lady fight cancer. There will be a silent Auction for the hunt we donated and others hunts and hunting equipment! The silent auction will be held in Independence, Kentucky at the Community Christian Academy. Whoever wins gets my personal spot! Other info in the post

Earlier this week, I saw a post made by a good friend and customer of ours about this sweet girl, Ellie. Jenna wanted to put together a hunting gift basket for the silent auction, and I immediately thought — as a hunting community, we can do more than just a gift basket.

HUNTING GUIDE WANTED

Salt Log Lodge is looking for the right person to join our team as a seasonal hunting guide.

Experience is a plus, but attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn are more important.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is good with others
• Is willing to listen and learn
• Has a strong work ethic
• Is dependable and shows up ready to work
• Understands that guiding means early mornings, late nights, and long hours
• Works well with hunters and the rest of our crew
• Is willing to help wherever needed
• Takes pride in doing the job right

THIS IS SEASONAL WORK. Most weeks will be approximately 3–4 days of work, depending on bookings and the hunting season. Looking for someone in the middle Ga area.

🍽️ Meals are provided while working.

This isn’t a clock-in, clock-out kind of job. Some days are easy, some days are long, and sometimes the animals don’t care what time you wanted to go home.

If you enjoy hunting, the outdoors, meeting people, and want the opportunity to learn the outfitting business and become a better hunting guide, we’d like to hear from you.
