For 16 years, the narrative was written for us. Expectations were set. Doubts were loud. And the history of this program became something people expected us to repeat.
But this team decided that history doesn’t have to dictate the future.
They didn’t ask anyone to believe in them. They went to work. They bought into something bigger than themselves. They trusted their coaches, trusted each other, and committed to building something that would outlast their time in a Grizzly uniform.
And now? The narrative IS changing.
Not because of one game. Not because of one player. But because an entire program decided that enough was enough.
16 years of history behind us. A new standard in front of us.
This is bigger than football. This is about showing the next generation of Grizzlies what happens when you refuse to accept the way things have always been.
We’re not chasing the old Copper Hills.
