Since 1989, Mount N View Taxidermy has been turning Arizona hunters' trophies into lasting works of art. What started as a single taxidermy studio has grown, over 37 years, into one of Arizona's most trusted names in wildlife artistry — now carried forward by second-generation taxidermist Chris Favour.
Based in Tonto Basin, Arizona, Mount N View is a family-owned and family-run studio. Chris and Shelley Favour personally greet every client who walks through the door, and Chris sees every project through personally, from the moment a trophy arrives to the moment it's ready to go home. The shop's philosophy hasn't changed since day one: every client is treated with the same care, professionalism, and respect the family would want for their own trophies.

Mount N View has earned a reputation built on results, not promises. The studio has been trusted to mount many Arizona Governor's Tag elk — among the most prestigious and closely watched trophies a hunter can take — a distinction that reflects decades of consistent, high-caliber work. Clients regularly point to turnaround time as a wait they will take for the quality they receive. It has been mentioned clients have waited on a list in the past to drop-off, for Chris' work. There is no wait to drop-off currently.
Chris has a special passion for sheep mounts, life-size work, and African safari trophies — bringing an artist's eye to some of the most demanding and technically challenging pieces in the industry.
Producing several hundred mounts every year, Mount N View combines the responsiveness of a dedicated local studio with the production experience of a high-volume shop — without sacrificing the personal attention each trophy deserves.
Mount N View also offers fish taxidermy — and hunters and anglers don't even need to bring in the actual fish. A photo alone is all it takes to create a stunning, lifelike replica mount, so a catch can be released and still hang proudly on the wall.
Fully Licensed, Fully Equipped
Mount N View is a USDA-approved facility, licensed by both the State of Arizona and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The studio is also import/export approved, giving hunters the ability to bring in trophies from international hunts with full CITES and customs support — a capability few Arizona taxidermy studios can offer.

Generations of Arizona hunters have brought their trophies to Mount N View — and many keep coming back, no matter how far they've since moved.
