It was a great day to honor those that came before us at our Hall of Fame night. We were fortunate to have Coach Christiano who was not only the former head softball coach at south for 15 seasons but also the athletic director.

Pitching Inductees (with a combined total of over (1700 strikeouts) including one of our originals:
Janis Traub Hansen (class of 1976) 342 Inning pitched
Jodi (Solana) Ussery - 609 innings pitched .428 career batting average
Rachel (Purpuro) House over 600 strike outs

Harley Gowdy - season leading 300 Put-outs
Madison Liguori- 838 Career Put-outs and the newest addition to our South Softball Coaching Staff

Center Fielder Andrea (Conover) Powitz - knows for her speed on the bases with 68 career steals

Sarah (Allen) Paturzo -.440 career batting average, highlighted by an incredible .518 season.
Renae Avalon- .449 Career Batting average and 15 home runs!
