The PM races for the final week of the Championship Series featured good wind and better competition. Only one race was scheduled and completed, which left plenty of time for the land-based party that SPYC is famous for. Thanks once again to my friends Lisa and Brad Lebbing for shepherding me around the racecourses--I hope to join you on the Bay again next year! Speaking of which, let me finish off by saying it has been an honor and my privilege to be the Official BBYRA Photographer. It has allowed me to see some great racing and make many great friends. I look forward to being back for the 2027 Championship Series--Lord willing! In the meantime, I will resume posting highlights from the past season after a hiatus. The AM races for Week 10 of the Championship Series, the last of the season, was kind of a jumble. The weather, as usual was the major factor, permitting the Green Course to get off two races, with an abandonment in between, and the Rose course to do far less. Not anyone's idea of ideal conditions for the last day, but that's how it goes sometimes! As I have six times before, I must thank my good friends Brad and Lisa Lebbing for getting me around the racecourses, with lots of laughs and perfect placement. They have the patience of Job!

After many races, wild weather, and lots of great competition, the 2026 Championship Season comes to an end at SPYC. As usual, the awards ceremony was full or tears and joy. Congratulations to all sailors, crew, qualifiers and class champions. Great job!
