Dear Crow Martial Arts Family,
Eight years ago, I founded Affinity Martial Arts with a simple mission: to provide a supportive space where individuals can disconnect from the outside world, learn new skills, and grow both on and off the mat.
Over the years, we have navigated many changes together new locations, a new name, and the challenges of COVID-19. Through it all, your loyalty, dedication, and community spirit have kept our academy strong. I am incredibly grateful to each of you for standing by me and one another through every chapter.
Today, I am writing to share an important update one that brings both change and exciting opportunity. After careful reflection, I have made the decision to close our current location. However, this marks the beginning of a new and promising chapter for all of us.
Beginning Monday, July 1st, we will merge with our extended martial arts family at Shore Kickboxing.
In preparation for this transition, Ms. Jen, Master Mike, and I have been working closely to create a schedule that will benefit all students.
I’m also thrilled to share that the majority of our Crow Martial Arts staff will be joining us in this exciting new venture. Together, we are developing enhanced opportunities for our students, including:
Expanded competition team programs
New seminars and workshops
Structured testing schedules
And much more to come.
A few key notes for your peace of mind:
• No tuition increases will occur during this transition.
• No new uniforms (Gi’s), shirts, or equipment are required.
• I will continue serving the academy and will remain actively involved in teaching you will still see me regularly on the mat.
I am genuinely excited to begin this new chapter alongside each of you. Thank you, as always, for your trust, dedication, and continued support.
I want to thank Thom DeMicco for his years of dedication and hard work. I wish him the best on his new venture.
With gratitude,
Coach Jon
