I have some bittersweet news to share with our Southern Athletics family.

First, I have to say… I miss my kiddos way too much! 🥹 Because of that, we WILL be open this week
(July 14th & 15th) for our regular classes. I can’t wait to see everyone!

Unfortunately, I was originally scheduled to have surgery this past week, but it was rescheduled to July 21st. That change has put me in a difficult position trying to decide what was best for everyone.

Once I met with my surgeon and learned the restrictions I’ll have after surgery, I realized this was a decision I couldn’t avoid.

I do not take this much time off… ever. Honestly, it upsets me more than you know. But I also know I have to put my family and my health first so I can recover properly and get back to doing what I love.

Because of that, Southern Athletics will be CLOSED from July 20th through August 5th while I recover. We will reopen and resume regular classes on August 5th.

If you have a birthday scheduled this doesn’t affect you in any way.

My doctors have placed restrictions on me after surgery, and I will not be able to safely spot athletes or give all the hugs your kiddos are used to. Not only is my health important, but the spotting and safety of your children has always been, and will always be, my first and foremost priority. I never want to put a child at risk or put myself in a position where I could injure myself and end up needing another surgery because I came back too soon.

🛑Fees Information:�• If you have already paid your July tuition, your payment will automatically carry over to August.�• If you have not paid yet, and pay this coming week your payment will count toward your August tuition, since we will only be holding classes this coming week on July 14th and 15th.

I appreciate every one of you for supporting me while I take the time I need to heal. I promise I’ll be back loving on your babies and helping them reach their goals as soon as my doctor says it’s safe.

🚨 Reminder! 🚨

Southern Athletics Gillenwater LLC is CLOSED this week for tumbling classes!

We will reopen next week and resume our regular class schedule and times.

🎉 All birthday parties that are already scheduled will still take place as planned.

The only thing affected this week is our tumbling classes.

We hope everyone enjoys the break, and we can’t wait to see everyone back next week!
