Northpointe Shockwaves Swim Team

Northpointe Shockwaves Swim Team Summer swim team affiliated to Houston's Northwest Aquatic League (NWAL) We are volunteer-supported and sponsor-funded.

The Northpointe Shockwaves Swim Team is a non-profit organization established in 2003 to promote competitive swimming for all Villages of Northpointe residents and eligible non-resident participants, ages 4 to 18 years of age. Our GOALS are to:

• Provide for all participants, safe, healthful exercise, and an opportunity to practice social skills in a positive environment.
• Help each swimmer real

ize his or her potential as an aquatic athlete through instruction in stroke technique, starts, turns and endurance provided by qualified coaches.
• Develop the qualities of good sportsmanship, self-discipline, and endurance within our swimmers.
• Grow community relationships while building an enduring Northpointe tradition.
• Provide our swimmers with a fun, exciting, and enriching experience. The Northpointe Shockwaves Swim Team (or simply the Shockwaves) strives to provide, fitness, friendship and a strong sense of community. We endeavor to teach our young athletes life skills to be successful in today’s competitive world, while ensuring that swimmers of all levels reach their full potential.

That’s a wrap on a championship season! 🏆⚡
The Northpointe Shockwaves finished the summer as Red 2 Division Champions! Beyond the trophies, we are so grateful for the community spirit, sportsmanship, and fun memories made this year.
Thank you to everyone who stepped up to volunteer and support the team. To our neighborhood: thank you for making waves with us all season!
We’re already looking forward to next year—registration will open in the spring, and we can’t wait to welcome new swimmers to the Shockwaves family! 🏊‍♂️💙
